While we just stopped by to take a few photos of boats, we were greeted by the friendliest and most welcoming people ever. They went the extra mile to make us feel right at home in this beautiful place called Campbell River, offering to show us some crabs and sharing their insider tips on what to do in the area. We were greeted by Abby and her staff as soon as we walked up to this unassuming little seafood shop and restaurant right on the dock. Abby was extremely warm, welcoming and informative as we pondered the menu with mouth watering options. We settled for the West Coast Crab Boil and wow, were we ever impressed! Everything was delectable and the house made crab boil butter sauce was out of this world! The seafood was perfectly seasoned and the PS size was perfect for two of us. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Campbell River!
Great find here in Campbell River. We arrived too late to dine in, but take out worked for us. They literally grabbed a fresh crab, steamed it and boom, dinner! Small coleslaw, dinner biscuits included. Great option to not have to cook.
We had the steamed crab and steamed shellfish box and they were both fresh and delicious that I had to order a second shellfish box to bring home. If you’re in the area and want seafood, but don’t want to prep at home, I highly recommend coming here. They also have live and frozen seafood for taking home.
A great, authentic stop by the water with amazing, local seafood dishes. Our sons liked watching the live crab, shrimp and lobster in the tanks right inside the door. My wife had the lobster roll and said it was amazing. Highly recommended.
